The North Fulton Blog Upside Down on Your Home Value? February 26th, 2010 6:04 PM Do you or someone you know owe more on your home than it is worth?  Are you behind on your mortgage payments or going to be unable to make your next payment?  Have you been contacted by your lender about defaulting your mortgage?  Are you facing foreclosure?  Do you not know what to do or where to go for help?    While all of these scenarios are ones that none of us want to be involved with, the reality is that many of us are currently in this situation or soon will be.  Maybe the solution is to speak with your lender about modifying your loan.  Maybe the situation has gone beyond that point and your hearing that dreaded "f" word used when speaking about your home!  Maybe the solution is to sell your home for less than what is owed on it, i.e., to do a short sale.    If you are faced with this type of a situation or a friend, family member or neighbor is facing this problem, please introduce me to this person so I can help them.    I've done a number of short sales and foreclosures over the past several years and am well qualified to help you or someone you know.  Together we can work out a strategy to help resolve the situation.  The solution may not be a totally pleasant one, but it is better than doing nothing and waiting to be evicted from your home!  I can help!
